Oliver Wright, Viacom International Studios’ UK Head of Factual and Features, is setting up a new label backed by All3Media owned Objective Media Group, bringing his extensive expertise of developing and producing high quality and strong rating factual series and documentaries.
During more than five years at VIS his credits include the recent ratings success Nick Knowles Into the Grand Canyon; three series of The Secrets of Royal Palaces; Nick Knowles' Big House Clearout; a raft of hit ABBA documentaries including The Missing 40 Years; Diana: In Her Own Words; Broadmoor: High Security & Serial Killers; TK Maxx: How Do they Do it, and three series of The Wonderful World of Chocolate. Prior to joining VIS Wright was at Endemol Shine as Executive Producer before moving on to Arrow Media as Head of Popular Factual.
Wright will continue his reputation for developing energetic and addictive series for a range of audiences at the as yet unnamed label, which will include programmes such as the forthcoming Tim Peake: Secrets of Our Universe, for Channel 5.
